Wrong Way

The country's political and economic situation is going the wrong way the people find that the political parities are not contributing to the welfare of the country as they should be doing. they are after power only and want to become supreme leaders the leaders are just threatening each other rather than co-operating this is a very desperate situation for the ordinary people i think this is mainly becouse the leaders have narrow concepts so the leaders should be able to change these types of non constructive actions if they really want to make new nepal otherwise the process of making new nepal and the peace process is not be going to be a success and will be in jeopardy. the political parties and people of the country should be concerned about nationality.

no way

With celestial bodies of the sun and the moon in a dual triangle has any other nation had the vision or the wisdom to encompass heavenly bodies in their flags? our national flag is the most beautiful flag compared to those of all other nations organisations and institutions around the world i would rather that the brains of those foolish unpatriotic people proposing to change our national flag be changed right away rather than change our lovely national flag.

Risky business

Well know that unsafe sex leads to unwanted pregnancies and venereal diseases however a study led by professor stuart brody of the west of scotland university concludes that unprotected heterosexual sex can significantly boost men and women's mental wellbeing but what would the researches say about mental health of a person who catches std or ends up carrying an unwanted child after unprotected sex? more and more young people teens even preteens are including in risky behaviour they are to young to fathom the consequences both emotional and physical.

the important of education

Education is necessary for the progress of the people of a country can achieve any remarkable progress education is therefore an important factor for development if people are educated they can acquire good knowledge of different thing education is useful to people of almost all professions if farmers are educated they can do their best in farming they would know how to use fertilisers they would also develop better way of cultivation education education is the basic need for producing man power such as doctors, pilots, teachers, farmers or policeman no uneducated person can have change of getting jobs or employment good education is also necessary for earning a living education has it's own value an educated person can be demired by other people too. thus education is the most essential part of our life.

a place of historical importance

In nepal there are a number of places of historical importance the kathmandu valley itself is a place of such importance it is said that the valley of kathmandu was once a great lake in course of time the water in it flowed out through a passage and thus it became the present valley kathmandu always has history in it became many great kings such as manadeva, ansuverma, jayasthiti malla, prithivi narayan shah, tribhuvan bir bikram shah all rued over it kathmandu is the capital city of nepal kathmandu is also known as the city of temples the temples of lord pasupati nath guhyeswari lord krishna in patan dakshin kali taleju etc are situated in this area the fifty five windowed palace of bhaktapur the hanuman dhoka and the narayanhity palace are the unparallelled instances of nepalese arts and carvings.

value of time

Time always moves forward it can not be measured with price or money it is however the most valuable thing in life what we need can be bought but time can never be bought time always fleets without any rest it can not be controlled or limited by any power even the smallest unit of time is more valuable than any of the metals such as gold silver and diamond time is equally important for all in this vast world there is a saying time and tide wait for no man it means that time once lost can never be regained we should develop the habit of doing everything in right time people who gave great value to time became successful in their lives those who missed good opportunities of time were never successful time should always be utilized in good actions it must not be wasted in tide deeds time has great significance for people to make their future bright it we value our life we must know the value of time only then we can be best to achieve great success in life.

generation gap

Be it in the advanced society of europe or america or a developing nation like nepal there is always a conflict between generations. in fact the more modernised a society the deeper the confrontation disparity in thoughts and lifestyle is an our come of modern education so this rift is not as pronounced in traditional societies with this assumption it can be said that the generation conflict in nepal is less than in the united states within nepal itself this gap is less significant in say dolop than in kathmandu in societies that are going through transition such a conflict may have servre consequences on the life of individuals in nepali society where deference to elders is taken for granted this conflict can be interce one of the reasons for the conflict is the societal structure clashes are bound to take place when the young and the old generations live under the same roof. probably the best example of such a tension can be seen in bees which are considered a family due to their organisational structure. the conflict in this family however is very dangerous, with the losers having to aban.

investment in education

Educationist and former vice chancellor of the tribhuvan university dr.kedar bhakta mathema during on interview with a local fm radio programme has revealet that the government of nepal would not be conducting slc examinations for class ten students in the very near future students would have to complete class 12 to be qualified to appear in the slc examinations all the highschools would have to run classes till class 12 the iron gate to pass the end of the high school education would be raised to class 12 i would like to opine that all the examinations in the education system in the country have merely been show the reported violent brick batting in some examination centres by the parents of the slc examinees directed against the police guarding them to allow their children to cheat is very pitiable the change of slc examinations from the end of class ten to class 12 would not change the pitiable system of public education it seems that nepal should think of singing an agrement with some internatinally recognised insittutions for the transformation of all schools in nepal as preparatory schools for the cambridge o level and a level examinations or other internationally recognised examinations all answer papers should be sent to foreign countries for evaluation public spending in education under the pretension of imparting usefull knowledge to the students should be urgently stopped and the certificates possessed by nepalese students should have relognition all over the world.

nepal flag is our national symbol

the propose presented by three parties the maoists rastriya janamorcha and dalit janjati party at the constitutional committee to change the national flags has aroused vehement reactions on all sides this proposal has been attacked from the stand point that the nepali flags has long been established as a national symbol is known across the world for its uniqueness and thus to change it would be to lose something that has became very precious to the nation the maoists in turn argue back that symboll on the flag represent feudalism and that a new flag is needed to represent the new state structure and the aspirations of the people. although there are many intractable problems in the country that need more attention than this it is worth initiating a debate over national sym

solar system's coldest on moon

Astonomers have found the coldest spot in our solar system and it may be a little close for comfort. it's on our moon right nearby NASA's new lunar reconnaissance orbiter is making the first Complte temperature map of the moon it found that at the moon's south pole it's colder than far away Pluto the area is inside craters that area permanently shadowed so they never see sun. "it's sort of like a faint glow and that's your only source of hear," said David Paige a university of California scientist who is part of the NASA team. "right here in our own backyard are Difintely the coldest things we've seen in real measurements." temperatures there were measured at 397 degrees below zero. that's just 62 degrees higher than the lowest temperature possible Pluto is at least a degree warmer even though it is about 40 times farther away from the sun.

irresponsible schools

It is highly irresponsible on the part of PAB-SON general secretary tr dhakal to put all the responsibility for monitoring the number of students on the pretext that his organisation is chiefly concerned with the educational and technical fields school bus rides sapping kids september 17 page 3. is't it the responsibility of the school administration to to designate a certain number of students for school bus on the basis of its size? the grossly irresponsible way the general secretary has evaded school's responsibility and instead blamed the traffic doesn't behove the umbrella organisation of private schools. it is necessary that PABSON looks into this matter seriously. it is also advised that people like dhakal holding responsible posts think long and hard before commenting on such sensitive issues.

new nepal

In the course of marking new nepal is it necessary that we dismantle each and every tradition costom and symbol? does new nepal merely imply such cosmetic changes new nepal for a layman is a nepal with widespread socio economic equality and where the fundametal rights of all citizens are guaranteed while arguing for a change for the sake of socalled transformation we can not be blind to our national standard's unique place among the flags of other countries it would hence be more viable and wise on the part of the law markers to redefine the meaning and implication of this flag rather than change it further more nepal is not going to under go any type of transformation instantly with the change of the flag. therefore, there should be no dispute regarding this matter and the political parties should not try to give this issue political colour.

rogavigyan pathology

Concept of pathogenesis
ayurveda is more concerned about digestion and accumulation of wastes. the digestive system is considered the key to good health. it is called jatharagni meaning digestive fire. the state of agni determines howwell food is assimilated into the body. According to Ayurveda if Agni is weak if too much food is consumed or if food is eaten at an inappropriate time it cannot be digested adequately. As a result undigested food changes into toxic residuce known as Ama. The waste Ama circulates around the body and ultimately creates disease. The basic tissues which maintain the body are known as dhatus. decrease or increase quality and quantity of each dhatu and its imbalanced functioning is another important factor to cause disease Malas are the waste materials produced as a result of various metabolic activities in the body. The main mala are urine faces and sweat. proper elimination of mala is equally important for good health. Accumulation of mala causes blockages in the body which result in manifestation of various diseases.

waste disposal

until now britain has opted for burying most of its rubbish. around four fifths of municipal waste is sent to landfill sites. this approach has made considerable sense in an island with sites to spare because of its particular geology and its history of quarrying. but landfill sites are getting scarce particularly in southern england where most people live. and they are becoming expensive to run as the government insists on safeguards against environmental hazards like the leaching of toxic waste into underground aquefiers but the biggest constraint on dumping stuff in landfill sites is britain's commitment to meet european targets to slash the amount of biodegradable waste-about 60% of household rubbish-that is put into landfill sites. these targets are intended to cut emissions of methane (a greenhouse gas) and to reduce the risk of water contamination from landfill. if you can't bury it an alternatives is to burn it. this certainly seemed to be the initial thrust of government thinking a few years ago. a programme to build as many as 130 new incinerators was envisaged. but burning also entails environmental risks. although new incinerators are now much cleaner than earlier ones people are scared of exposure to dangerous chemicals like cancer-producing dioxins. the political difficulties i selling an expansion of incineration are immense.

what's the difference?

Two products relief and calm both claim to get rid of a headache in a short period of time but while relief is a homepathic from of medication that has been developed using natural substance calm is a more comventional product that contains a range of chemicals some of which may be harmful is taken in large quantities doctors also advise that these chemicals may interfere with certain activities such as driving and should be avoided if the patient needs to stay awake relief it seems causes no such problems it is no wonder that parents are keen to find alternatives for their children to drugs contaning chemicals but are products like relief the answer surprisingly not according to the product label which like that of its more conventional counterpart warns against giving the medicine to anyone under the age of fourteen both medicines come in tablet form-marking them less easy to digest than soluble products however the years of research seem to have paid off for calm which is now little bigger than a pinhead while the bullet-sized relief might prove a bit more troublesome.
